NEW POSITIONS


Webpage Designer - This student is responsible for the design and creation of the official ASC website which will be linked to the communication department website. Excellent opportunity to build your resume.

Event Planners - These positions will help plan the annual Degrees of Communication Seminar Event on April 17th, 2010. This means managing the venue, program, booking and managing speakers, coordinating catering, donations, raffle items, and on site staging and management of the event.

Account Managers – Students in these positions will have unique networking opportunities. Will work closely with UNLV's ASC team and participate in several local professional organizations as the CSN liaison including AdFed, IABC (Int'l Assoc. of Business Communicators), Women in Communication, and PRSSA among others. You will rub shoulders with industry professionals. Getting a job after graduation may depend on who you know and who knows you.

Fundraising Coordinator – The student in this position will work with the treasurer on organizing and managing all fundraising activities. This student will have lots of opportunities making contacts out in the community and getting other students involved to raise money to fund ASC activities and events.
