BIOL 299 - Undergraduate Research at CSN

Biomedical Exploration Workshop

The Biomedical Exploration Workshop is a five week summer program offered at the College of Southern Nevada.

It is designed to give students the opportunity to explore different career options in the biomedical sciences, understand the educational requirements for these careers, and gain exposure to the environments in which they would be working.

Sci Night

SciNight is an open forum where students and faculty meet to informally discuss primary scientific research articles.
SciNight meets on Thursdays at 7:30pm on the North Las Vegas (Cheyenne) Campus in room N216. More information

CSN Biology Club
The student-run biology club was created to increase interaction among biological science majors and faculty. Some of the activities include:

  • establishment of study groups
  • employment opportunities
  • scholarship and internship awareness
  • coordination of summer research options
