About Us

Working with all College departments, The Center for Academic and Professional Excellence(CAPE) formulates, designs, and coordinates staff and faculty professional development and training to support the institution’s strategic goals. The purpose of CAPE is to foster innovation in classroom and online teaching, provide opportunities for college service, develop and coordinate leadership training, and support development of organizational culture that improves institutional effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability. Meet the Staff Linda Chapman - "My passion is computers and the use of technology. No matter how much you know, there's always plenty more to learn! More than knowing about computers, I love to help others to utilize the tools provided to them to improve their workflow and add pizzazz to their projects. CAPE gives me that opportunity every day. As a presenter in people skills workshops, my passion and focus is always foremost on providing exceptional customer service."
