Free web hosting by System Computing Services (SCS) at Nevada.edu

Student accounts are automatically created when they register at the Registrar’s office, however they will need to activate the account at: https://secure.scsv.nevada.edu/swami/.

Once they register they will set a password and be able to access the FTP server and Websites.
Web pages can be accessed at http://www.nevada.edu/~login (~ symbol and their login name all together)
The student will get their login name when they activate their account above.
They will use the credentials they are given/create when they activate their account. When they login to their FTP site with their credentials, they will get taken directly to their folder space.
The ‘public_html’ folder is where they will need to upload the content for their web pages. Make sure to put all your website files inside this folder.
If any student needs help with creating their account, or with FTP or Web access for the Nevada.edu (Pionner) accounts above, they may call System Computing Services (SCS) at (702) 895-4585 and press #2 to get to the help desk.

Check out CSN Library>Safari Tech Books Online. In order to access Safari you will need:
-CSN User Name: last eight digits of their Student C-number
-CSN Password: Birth date expressed as MMYY
