Program Overview | Class Schedule | Careers & Jobs | Faculty | Facilities & Resources Supporting Degrees & Certificates in: Computer Graphics Design • Multimedia Authoring • Web Design • Electronic Publishing GRC 290—Internship for Graphic Communications (1-3 credits) Whereas there are no prerequisites listed for this course, students who apply for GRC 290 should be in the final semester of their degree program. What specific classes they should have taken prior to the internship depends on the nature of the company for which the intern will work and the particular certificate/degree emphasis of the student. GRC 290 counts for a Major Area Elective for the Computer Graphics for Print, Multimedia Authoring , and Web Design 2001-2003 degrees. Though it is not currently listed for the 2003-2005 degrees, it serves as an elective; It can be used for an elective in previous degrees. Grades will be based on attendance and employer evaluation and any
other criteria set up by the faculty mentor. Prior to signing up for the class, the student should clear plans with the faculty advisor (see Ed Kanet) who can be assigned to monitor the intern. See Internship Policies and Procedures
