COURSE COMPARISONSGRC 175B teaches the basics of Dreamweaver as the tool to create web pages and web sites. Emphasis is also on design and usability and principles involved in the planning, production of web sites. Minimal scripting. (Geared toward the designer) see syllabus CSCO 175B prepares the student to successfully complete the World Organization of Webmasters "Web Designer Apprentice" certification covering legal issues; web graphics, multimedia, site design and management; internet basics and markup and WYSISYG editors. No scripting. (Geared toward the networker) see syllabus NOTE: Either GRC 175B or CSCO 175B fulfills a requirement for the CCSN Web Design degree; CIT 151B may be used as an elective in that degree. CIT 151B is designed to teach students the basics of creating an HTML document. Experience in using a web browser is beneficial. All scripting.
