An email (mailing) list is managed by an on-line resourse known as a listserv, which sends a copy of all messages it receives to every email account on its designated list.
To join a particular mailing list (such as a class mailing list) on the CCSN Computer Graphics Program listserv, a user must SUBSCRIBE to it. Normally this is done simply by sending email to the listserv and asking it to place you on the list you want to be on.
