ANNOUNCEMENTS

CSN Computer Graphics Blog

Some events [guest speakers, tours, and special presentations] are sponsored by individual courses / instructors within the Program; students are invited to attend, space available.
The specifics of these events will be announced at

Events sponsored by the Computer Graphics Program and other Events of interest to students of the Computer Graphics Program will be posted on the CSN Computer Graphics Blog.

INTERNSHIPS

Internships are available from time to time through the Computer Graphics Program. These are opportunities available first to students enrolled in GRC 290—Internship for Graphic Communications. See Internship Policies & Procedures.

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has an immediate opening for a Graphics Intern.

The ideal candidate must be:

  • Highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to implement quick revisions to match client's and Designer's requests.
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Familiar with both Macintosh and PC platforms.
  • Skilled at proofing, pre-flighting, and preparing files for print.
  • Proficient at page layout and design.
  • Familiar with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques.
  • Able to provide a portfolio for review.
