Online with a few meetings in class.

Electronic Publishing I

This is the first time that this course will be taught online as a hybrid course (that means that all students meet a few times during the semester inclass and the rest of the semester can work online, however, for those students who want a more traditional approach, they will be able to have help in the classroom on a regular basis.) Students are required to meet the first and last session in class (as well as two or three times during the semester)

Special Topic: Podcasting Basics

This course teaches you how to create and deliver a podcast, play and store music, recorded lectures and voice memos. Students are required to have their own software and hardware. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and an understanding of how to access the World Wide Web.

Adobe After Effects

Digital Video Post-Production

Creating and publishing motion graphics using Adobe After Effects authoring program. Students learn to author and publish motion graphics combining music, text, and graphics to create a highly visual program. Emphasis is on creating content usable with digital video, common authoring programs, and the web. Prerequisite: PHO 220B Digital video Editing or Instructor's permission.
