Objectives:
To create a Magazine cover or CD cover using multiple images and computer
creative techniques. This images should will combine both text and images .
Assignment General Outline:
Using a scanner to digitize two or more photographic images, and Adobe
Photoshop software, generate a creative image that is visually creative with text
and requires the compositing of at least two separate computer images and
two text blocks.
Magazine covers can have actual magazine logos or be
totally created with real or fictitious titles.
Procedures:
- Select two photographic images, scan the images, save to disk with
the file sizes of magzine cover 8"X10". CD cover front is 4.75"X4.75"
the back of the CD cover is 5.875"X4.635" and all images should be at 200DPI.
- You must use at lease two text blocks in your image.
- Using Adobe Photoshop software to composite Your text and images.
- Import the images add the text blocks until the composite image is complete.
Use any creative techniques (such as Filters or Mode shifts) desired to
achieve a creative final image.
Requirements:
- Submit for grading, a final image that will be printed as a dye-sublimation
or ink-jet image.
- Final image must have at least one creative technique applied to the image.
- Final image must be composited from at least 2 text blocks and a scanned image.
