Reading 095 is a hybrid course; this means that we meet in the classroom, but also complete some assignments online. We use Angel http://onlinecampus.csn.edu/default.asp to record your grades and attendance, a wiki, and other technology for assignments. This semester, we will not use a textbook but read articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers.
Assignments include oral and written discussion of the articles, writing blogs, and reading a novel. The goal of the class is to help improve your reading comprehension so that you are better able to critically read and understand college-level textbooks and other reading material.
