The College of Southern Nevada Foundation Supports Students
The CSN Foundation is dedicated to building better communities in Southern Nevada. Our mission is to support and advance the College by raising funds that support the college's students, faculty, staff and programs. The CSN Foundation is an independent, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We promote and further the development of CSN college programs by raising, managing and disbursing private funds.
Our Mission
To perpetuate and promote the College of Southern Nevada as a superior public institution providing quality post-secondary education in Southern Nevada by securing additional resources to enhance the educational programs and services offered by the College of Southern Nevada. To assist the College of Southern Nevada in providing educational opportunities for the prosperity and well being of the individual and the community.
Our Board of Trustees
The Foundation Board of Trustees is comprised of members from across the spectrum of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada business, industry, education, and history. The aggregate knowledge and experience that can be found on our Board is a great contributor to the ongoing success and effectiveness of the CSN Foundation.

Employee giving demonstrates faculty, staff and administration commitment to the future of CSN and provides valuable leverage in reaching overall donation goals. My name is Richard Baldinelli and I want to thank IGT for providing me this wonderful scholarship. I'm in my third year of school at CSN and I'm trying to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. My experience at CSN has been amazing, and the college has given me a great head start in my education.

After I receive my B.A., I plan to attend University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and obtain a M.F.A. in Screen writing.

It is with profound gratitude and great humility I accept the Las Vegas Hospitality’s Association’s Scholarship. Thanks to the generosity of the Las Vegas Hospitality Association, I’m on track to graduate CSN next spring with a degree in Hospitality Management. After CSN, I plan to continue my education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Continuing my education will help validate my work at CSN while I prepare myself for the fast-paced, ever- changing Las Vegas hospitality industry.

About a year and a half ago, I made the decision to go back to school. It had been more than a decade since I had stepped inside a classroom. I am currently pursuing an AS in Environmental Science. After I graduate at CSN I plan to transfer to UNLV to get my BS in Environmental Geology. Ideally, I hope to work for a government agency, such as the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection.

Team Revive of Revive Backpacks Honored at the Foundation's January Board of Trustees Meeting.
Revive is a brand built by young people, many of them CSN Students or Graduates, chasing a dream. The company name reflects the intent, to revive their generation's mentality & encourage them to chase their dreams & aspirations. Revive is based around an accessory item, the backpack. In modern culture backpacks are used to carry books, dance shoes, cameras, helmets, etc. The backpack is the "modern-day briefcase", symbolizing success all over the world.

JT3 Technology Lab Dedication
The CSN Foundation unveiled the JT3 Technology Lab, on September 19th, 2012, in the Morse Arberry Jr. Telecommunications Building on the CSN Cheyenne Campus. The space was named in honor of the electronics-based defense contractor that has supported the college's mission and dedicated many resources to technology training in Southern Nevada.
2012 4th Annual CSN Golf Classic
The 4th Annual CSN Golf Classic took place on June 15th, 2012 at the Badlands Golf Course. There were 32 total foursomes that played in the Classic and a good time was had by all. Sponsors for the event included Cox Communications and the Badlands Golf Course. We thank them and all those who attended for their support of the College. We also thank all the wonderful volunteers who made the event such a success.
2012 Legacy of Achievement Gala, "Magical Moments"
The 2012 Gala took place on May 12th in the Rio Pavilion at the Rio Hotel & Casino. Legacy of Achievement Awards were presented to Mr. Kenneth Goodrich, The Honorable Diana Hampton, Dr. Richard McGee and Mr. Bob Stodal. Thanks to Wirtz Beverage Nevada approximately 50 students received financial assistance to further their Hospitality careers. Also thanks to Wirtz, CSN students had opportunities to compete in State and Regional culinary contests. Wirtz is supporting a sommelier certificate program at CSN as well. Sons and daughters of James Benton Whiteaker received autographed baseballs from the Coyote Team following their family Foundation presentation on May 4, 2012. The James Benton Whiteaker Foundation is underwriting transportation for CSN Athletics for three years. The sports facility located at the Henderson campus has been named the James B.
