The College of Southern Nevada Foundation Supports Students

The CSN Foundation is dedicated to building better communities in Southern Nevada. Its mission is to support and advance the College by raising funds that support the college's students, faculty, staff and programs. The CSN Foundation is an independent, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We promote and further the development of CSN college programs by raising, managing and disbursing private funds.

 

Our Mission

To perpetuate and promote the College of Southern Nevada as a superior public institution providing quality post-secondary education in Southern Nevada by securing additional resources to enhance the educational programs and services offered by the College of Southern Nevada. To assist the College of Southern Nevada in providing educational opportunities for the prosperity and well being of the individual and the community.

About a year and a half ago, I made the decision to go back to school. It had been more than a decade since I had stepped inside a classroom. I am currently pursuing an AS in Environmental Science. After I graduate at CSN I plan to transfer to UNLV to get my BS in Environmental Geology. Ideally, I hope to work for a government agency, such as the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection.
