In addition to successfully completing the prescribed course of study in an approved school of nursing, the Nevada Nurse Practice Act (NRS 632.140) requires that candidates for licensure be (1) of good moral character (2) in good physical and mental health. Prospective students are advised that if they have been convicted of a felony prior to admission to the program that this may preclude subsequent licensure to practice as a nurse in Nevada (NRS 632.320). If you are a prospective student and have been convicted of a felony, please refer to the Criminal Convictions Fact Sheet located at Nevada State Board of Nursing website.
