Students transferring with as AAS degree or equivalent from an accredited dental hygiene program will have that degree counted as fulfilling CSN's lower division general education requirements without the necessity for a course by course evaluation

BS Degree Professional Track

Choose one of the following Professional Tracks
Public Health Focus
· DH 412 Dental Public Health Administration - 2 credits
· DH 422 Oral Epidemiology and Biostatistics - 2 credits
Education Focus
· DH 418 Advance Education Concepts - 2 credits
· DH 428 Clinical and Laboratory Teaching - 2 credits

Final Two Courses in Degree Sequence

· DH 440 Capstone Seminar I - 2 credits
· DH 442 Capstone Seminar II - 2 credits

Courses can be taken in any sequence

All students must satisfy the Nevada legislative requirement for US/NV history-1-4 credits
Total credits needed:   38 credit hours if US/NV history requirement met
                                      39-42 credit hours if US/NV history requirement not met
