Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program

Program Description This is a one semester program that is open to any student 18 years of age or older and provides instruction in basic emergency medical care skills.
Where Do I Start? This is an open enrollment program.
What To Expect Students are enrolled in classroom and lab. Approximately 4-6 weeks after the start of a semester, students are assigned to various health care agencies to observe basic emergency skills. Upon successful completion of the semester, students are eligible to take the National Registry Exam.

Paramedic Medicine
(Certificate of Achievement)

Program Description This is a 3 semester program that is open to any currently licensed Intermediate EMT.
Where Do I Start? This is a Limited Entry Program

What To Expect Students are enrolled in classroom and lab. Approximately 4-6 weeks after the start of a semester, students are assigned to hospital emergency rooms and/or ambulance companies for practice of learned skills. Upon successful completion of the semester, students are eligible to take the National Registry Exam.

Paramedic Medicine
(Associate of Applied Science)

Program Description This is a 3 semester program that is open to any currently licensed Intermediate EMT.

What To Expect Students are enrolled in classroom and lab and may be expected to complete in excess of 18 credits per semester. Clinical rotations are completed throughout the program and a field internship on an ambulance/rescue is the final phase of the program. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Registry Exam.
