Program Description Occupational Therapy Assistants provide critical services in the rehabilitation of clients by giving individuals the skills for everyday living. This curriculum prepares students to treat, through purposeful activity or occupation, those who have been disabled by inactivity, disease, workplace accidents, traumatic injuries and those born with a disability.

What To Expect This program is a full time curriculum taken over four semesters that typically consists of three days per week followed by 16 weeks of full time clinical at the completion of all coursework. The OTA full-time coursework is offered in a variety of learning formats including on-line and hybrid, seminar 2-3 times/semester), and clinical fieldwork. This allows flexibility for the working/busy adult.
