The Occupational Therapy Assistant program has been challenged by the inability to recruit both a Program Director and Academic Field Work Coordinator.  The lack of program leadership has impacted our ability to maintain compliance with several of the Accreditation Standards for an Educational Program for the Occupational Therapy Assistant.  Therefore, we have requested and been granted inactive accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).   We hope be able to reactivate the program in the future, when adequate leadership and other resources are available.

In the meantime, we are unable to accept new students.  We realize that many of you have been preparing for admission to this program and we are truly sorry for the impact on your educational plans.   We encourage you to make an appointment with a Health Programs Advisor to consider other educational options for a career in a health profession.

We wish you the best as you consider future educational opportunities.   Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
