STUDENTS WHO ARE PLANNING TO REGISTER FOR BIOL 223 and/or BIOL 224 in the Summer 2010 semester: Due to budget cuts, the Biology Department has announced that they will not offer BIOL 223 (Anatomy & Physiology I) and BIOL 224 (Anatomy and Physiology II) this Summer 2010. The Biology Department will continue to offer BIOL 189 in the Summer 2010 semester. Please note: Students who planned to take BIOL 223 and/or BIOL 224 in Summer 2010 in order to be eligible to apply to a Limited Entry Health program by its deadline date OR based on their Individual Plan of Study worksheet must consider either a change in their plan or register and enroll in the course(s) at UNLV or NSC and transfer the course(s) to CSN – the transfer process takes 8-12 weeks. |

Dental Assisting Program: Students registering for the Dental Assisting program in Spring 2010 must do one of the following before contacting the program director:
1) Take the English placement exam and place in ENG 101, ENG 107, or ENG 113
2) Officially transfer ENG 101 with at least a grade of "C" or better
3) Pass ENG 100 with a grade of "C" or better
If you have satisfied one of the above, you may contact the program director, Carole Brew, to discuss being placed on the registration list for Spring 2010. |

Radiation Therapy: The Fall 2010 Radiation Therapy advisement sheets have been revised. The selection criteria and prerequisites remain the same. Changes have been made to the program courses. Students must follow the 9/09 copy of the Fall 2010 Radiation Therapy advisement sheets not the 04/09 copy. |

Veterinary Technology Program: The Veterinary Technology Program is "nationally accredited" and recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Graduated students may sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) and Nevada Veterinary Technician Exam.
** The Veterinary Technology Program would like to proudly announce their newly licensed CSN Veterinary Clinic. CSN is the only post secondary institution in Nevada to develop a licensed veterinary clinic associated with a veterinary technology program. Students accepted into the Veterinary Technology Program will be able to gain practical experience through CSN's Veterinary Clinic as well as other affiliated practicum sites.
