In this module learn to select a topic and create a search strategy.

When you have completed this section of CSN Searchpath you should be able to:

  • brainstorm to select a topic

  • broaden or narrow a topic

  • identify keywords for a topic

  • distinguish "keyword" from "subject" searching

  • use phrase searching, connectors, truncation, wildcards and nesting in constructing a search strategy
