CSN's online library catalog is a list of books, DVDs, videos, and all other items that the library owns. For every item there is a database record. You can search the catalog to find materials in the libraries of CSN, Nevada State College (NSC), UNLV, Desert Research Institute. These include:

• Over a million traditional books printed on paper

• Thousands of electronic books viewable on your computer

• Government documents
• CDs, DVDs, videotapes and more

Note: You can't search for individual magazine or journal articles in a library catalog. You'll learn how to search for them by using a research database described in module four.
