How to Find the Full Text If Not Available in the Database You are Using

Some research databases may not have the full text of the article you want. Say you found a good article in the New York Times , but the database you are currently using has only the citation of the article. Follow the steps below to find out if the New York Times is available in other databases or even print or microfilm copies in CSN Libraries.

1. Go to the CSN College Library Services website at www.csn.edu/library/.

2. Click Find Articles and Research Information.

3. Click Search CSN Magazine and Journal Titles.

4. Type New York Times in the query box and press Search

5. The results show that you can find New York Times articles in the databases eLibrary and Opposing Viewpoints Resources Center.

6. Click on the database links to search for New York Times articles.

7. Note also the dates in black indicating which issues are accessible through CSN's subscriptions with these different databases.
