Images of Mars.
Left: Planet Mars color composite from a red exposure at 07:11:50 UT, a green exposure at 07:14:34 UT and a blue exposure at 07:17:02 UT on 02/05/95. The telescope was an 12.5" Cassegrain operating at f/16. The camera was a SBIG ST-6 CCD. The exposure time 0.05 seconds for each exposure. Adobe Photoshop was used to enhance the image and make the composite.
Right: The planet Mars from an exposure at 07:31:50 UT on 02/05/95. The telescope was an 12.5" Cassegrain operating at f/16. The camera was a SBIG ST-6 CCD. The exposure time 0.02 seconds with no filter. Adobe Photoshop was used to enhance the image via unsharp masking.
