A Distant Eduction Course

This is a distant education course which focuses on the skill and knowledge required to pass the Comptia Security + Examination. It is comprehensive in its coverage of Systems Security, Network Infrastructure, Access Controls, Assessments and Audits, Cryptology and Organizational Security. iWhile it is recommended that a candidate intended to pass the Comptia Security + exam should have some work experience in a networking role and pre-existing knowledge of TCP/IP, and even hold a certification such as Network +, it is not a requirement. A devotion to self study and hard work can earn a passing Security + Certification. The only pre-requisite is that a candidate should have completed CIT112, Networking +. Exceptions can be granted by the instructor. If student requires a waiver to the pre-requisite, the student should email the instructor for permission.

Conduct of Course
This DE course is conducted with you in mind. In that respect there are no time limits on taking exams, except that the course must be completed by the final date as noted in the syllabus. Once you register and enter the course, the midterm, final, all bonus exams as well as practice exams and videos will be available. You can take all exams in the final week,or final day if that is desired. You run the course at your convenience.
