| CHHP313 | Pilates | The basic principals of Pilates conditioning are to give students an overall sense of body awareness, create core strength and increase efficiency of movement. This class will increase strength, flexibility and endurance. The Pilates method does not require the mindless repetition of boring exercise that most people tire of quickly and subsequently abandon. The method consists of carefully performed movements. Each exercise is designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles involved, working joints and releasing tension. Specific breathing patterns for each exercise assist in directing energy to a particular area of the body. Wear comfortable clothing. |
| CPEX301 | Reiki - 1st Degree | Dr. Mikao Usui of Kyoto, Japan uncovered the ancient healing power known as Reiki. Reiki is a hands-on technique used to release stress and relax the body to promote healing. There are three degrees in Usui Reiki, 1st, 2nd and Reiki Master. In this 1st degree class students will learn the Usui techniques to generate healing to themselves and to others. Hands-on practice will be emphasized. A special ceremony to attune students to the flow of Reiki energy will be performed and a 1st Degree certificate will be awarded. Bring a mat or light blanket to class. Reiki the Healing Touch by William Lee Rand will be available at class for $22, payable to the instructor. |

Punch and kick targets to test your power rather than just punching or kicking air.
