| CFRE300 | French for Travelers I | Whether for business, pleasure or study, traveling to many countries requires a basic knowledge of French. This conversational course will introduce you to basic syntax, useful vocabulary and valuable cultural information. $10 materials fee collected by the instructor at the first class. |
| CGER300 | Basic Conversational German | The goal of this class is to provide students with a sound basis for learning German, as it is used in communication today. You will get practice in the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, taught by a native speaker. Students will learn the elements of German grammar, sentence structure, greetings, common idioms and expressions. Bring a 1" ring binder to class. A fee of $10 for handouts is payable to instructor at first class. |
| CSPA304 | Basic Spanish | This course will provide you with a basic knowledge of the Spanish language to better aid you with your communication skills. It is designed for anyone who needs to communicate regularly with Spanish speakers. This class provides all the Spanish vocabulary and phrases needed to communicate key messages and converse socially with Hispanic visitors, co-workers, family members and friends. All skills are taught gradually and systematically through practice and review. |
